Financing Equipment

No matter which form of insurance or payment you elect to use for your equipment, ATG Rehab will work with you to ensure that the equipment you receive will meet your needs. ATG also commits to seek prior authorization of payment from your insurance company whenever possible so that any payment due from you (if any) is known to you before we provide the equipment.

Prior to providing any equipment, ATG Rehab credentialed ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) will meet with you, your family, and your ancillary medical providers to determine your insurance coverage as it relates to the equipment you need, define your mobility goals and specify equipment that meets your mobility criteria and fits your lifestyle. Our goal is to find the right equipment to provide you as much independent mobility as possible and that will also fit the insurance coverage you have.

For your convenience, our Sales Coordinators work directly with your doctors or therapists to gather the paperwork specifically required by your insurer. Once all of the paperwork is complete, our Funding Coordinators work directly with your insurer to secure prior authorization.

Listed below are general categories of insurances/payment that ATG Rehab customers commonly use for payment of mobility equipment. For information regarding specific insurance carriers or policies please call the ATG Rehab office closest to you and ask to speak with a Funding Coordinator.

MEDICARE BENEFICARIES

ATG Rehab is a Medicare Provider for all traditional Medicare beneficiaries. In addition ATG Rehab is able to provide equipment to most people who participate with private insurers to provide their Medicare coverage.

MEDICAID RECIPIENTS

ATG Rehab is a Medicaid provider in each state where ATG offices are located and many times we also participate in Medicaid programs in neighboring states.

PRIVATELY INSURED

ATG Rehab is contracted with many national and local insurance programs. Examples of some are AETNA, United Healthcare, and local Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans.

SCHOOLS AND OTHER PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS

ATG Rehab works with school systems and other facility type organizations. Purchase Orders are an acceptable form of promising payment for equipment.

PRIVATE PAYMENT

ATG Rehab accepts cash, check and Master Card or Visa credit card payments.
