With the wide array of product choices, and new product appearing on the market every day, it has become simple to provide “out of the box” solutions for manual mobility and fall into comfortable habits of providing similar products for similar situations. However, when your review the literature related to manual mobility, it is clear that one size does not fit all. This program will discuss the importance of customization of manual mobility on function and demonstrate the differences between configuration options and true custom, built options. We will review specific custom features that may benefit your clients, identify appropriate clients for custom mobility, and discuss realistic funding options that will allow for maximum funding and provide the outcomes we are looking for.

Tina Roesler is a physical therapist with over 18 years of experience in rehabilitation and mobility.
