Mobility Interventions For People With Spinal Cord Injuries
This webinar will explore the multiplicity of considerations for determining mobility recommendations for people with spinal cord injuries. Manual wheelchair configurations to optimize propulsion efficiency will be reviewed as well as other factors that may influence equipment choices for all levels of injury and mobility, such as independence in weight shifts, transfers and environmental situations. Wheelchair base and seating options will be addressed to promote long-term health and independence. Case studies will help to illustrate these issues.
